A quick and fascinating read about the Philmont benefactor. The triumphs and tragedies of a full life including stories of his other philanthropic efforts. Oil was the "Silicon Valley" of the early 20th century and Mr. Phillips was in the middle of it. That wealth was put to "productive" use with the Boy Scouts.
