This is the story of a little Dutch oven and his many adventures as he was passed down from generation to generation. From cooking stewed apples on the Oregon Trail in the 1860's, to making cobbler on family campouts in the 1960's. Dutch delighted many families over the years. Dutch's story resonates with readers of all ages, from the grandparents who still remember their family cooking with cast iron to today's modern-day camper. You will want to share Dutch's story with you entire family.

Dutch the Cast Iron Oven
As an Assistant Scout Master of the troop. My way of showing the boys other methods of cooking was to use the Dutch Oven to prepare meals and deserts. Those boys were very fond of Mr H's cobblers and other famous deserts. Those boys are now young men having families I'm often invited to celebrate their new addition and I find sharing this book & stuffed cast Iron oven toy a way to remembering the time we shared together.
